Some of my favorite film scores;
Street Fighter
Beast Cops
28 Days Later
Deep Red(more so than Susperia)
Lone Wolf and Cub(ep.3)
Once Upon a Time in the West
A Clockwork Orange
Amadeus
2001(I know the last 3 are like shooting fish in a barrel)
Vertigo

"Halloween"
"The Fog"
"Phantasm"
anything by Goblin, but "Suspiria" and "Profondo Rosso" are my favorites.
"Zombi 2"
"The Beyond"
several by Ennio Morricone.
several by Akira Ifukube.
many of the Hammer film scores done by James Bernard.

There are alot more, but that's a start.

Wes Anderson movies have my favorite soundtracks. The songs are not only great but fit in the movies very well.
