From what I understand Christopher Lee really regretted turning down the roll of Loomis in the original Halloween, well I don't know if he would do it but I think he would still make a great Loomis even now in the remake

I don't know. I love Christopher Lee, but I think I'd have a hard time with anyone other than Donald Pleasence in the role.

That's actually a really good idea. Someone oughta go over to his message boards or something and post that. He might even do it.

From what I understand the remake won't have a Dr. Loomis. When the original story of the remake came out it was reported that the only character that return for the remake would be Mikey.

On his blog a few weeks back Rob said Dr. Loomis will be in the movie because he feels him and Laurie are a very important part of the story

I'd love to see Chris Lee in the new Halloween in any capacity.

Christopher Lee as Dr. Loomis. What a great idea.

Then again, I thought someone's suggestion of Robert Picardo for the new Carl Kolchak was a great idea and Hollywood picked Stuart whatsisname instead.

Can't trust Hollywood to come up with great ideas. What did Bruce Campbell call Hollywood ? "Creatively bankrupt" was the phrase, I believe.

I love Lee in anything, I could watch him read a book for three hours, but he's really, really friggin' old. I'm not sure WHO could play Loomis...it's going to be hard for Rob...I hope he can pull it off.

What a SWELL idea! Chris Lee as Loomis...Why, that'd be a win/win situation for all involved.

A.) He'd be a really fine actor for the role, especially as a man who appreciates finer horror films and what they have to offer.
B.) His name being on the picture would bring tons more people into the theaters. Everyone loves Chris Lee.

I'd definitely be up for the idea, myself. Lee already has a steadfast place in horror history. He's a prime candidate, if he'd actually be interested in doing it.

Most people would only know him as Saruman. He's not really a household name.
