And, you know, the thing about a shark... he's got lifeless eyes. Black eyes. Like a doll's eyes. When he comes at ya, doesn't seem to be living... until he bites ya, and those black eyes roll over white and then... ah then you hear that terrible high-pitched screamin'. The ocean turns red, and despite all the poundin' and the hollerin', they all come in and they... rip you to pieces.
The year 1975 saw one of the most memorable movies of all time devour movie theaters world wide. In its wake the summer blockbuster was born. From the haunting theme music of John Williams to a Great White shark named "Bruce', Jaws took an ususpecting audience by storm and gave people a reason to fear the sea. This Friday be prepared to be scared of the water all over again.
Dread Central Cinema presents...
Welcome! You can stop chumming and pull up a seat. We’ll be taking a little ride on the Orca at 7 PM Pacific/8 PM Mountain/9 PM Central/10 PM Eastern. Let’s see how many folks we have a board and then we’ll be underway. You never know. We might need a bigger thread.

reading some Jaws facts at IMDB, and there be alot of em, like this one
Robert Shaw was also in trouble with the IRS and had to flee the country once his scenes were completed.

Hiya. I've attempted to learn how to make gif's the past few months, but they require more effort than I've been willing to give recently. I'm sure that will change once school starts though. |
