I've seen some of it.
'Battlegrounds' is the one to watch. That episode kicks mucho ass.
'Crouch End' was a waste, and from what I've heard, the rest of the series is kind of a wash. |

How do you get to see stuff (specifically TV) like this in advance? |

So i just saw the commercial for the one with the green army men. Didnt they do this yeaaaaaars ago on tales from the darkside or some such show? I distictly remember a guy fighting army men when I was growing up. _________________ It's times like these when I think of the words of Socrates when he said...I drank what? |

Actually, you're thinking of an episode of the short-lived 1980 anthology show DARKROOM (hosted by James Coburn!) which featured Ronny Cox as a `Nam vet turned farmer (and abusive father) who was hunted by his son's army men. It was plainly stolen from King's original story, which was published in 1975 in Cavalier Magazine, then again in 1978 in his short story collection, "Night Shift."
Regardless, "Battleground" is MUCH better. _________________ "According to witnesses, testimony and evidence...this massacre was the work of ninjas!" |

| I'm watching 'Salem's Lot' and 'Dreamcatcher' on TNT and keep seeing previews for it. I'll definitely be checking it out. |

First episode was pretty damn great, but the second one was seriously lacking and annoying.
I'll stick with it though. |

I really enjoyed "Battleground."
Not only was it an excellent homage to the Twilight Zone's "Invaders" with not featuring any dialogue, but Hurt was great, those army men were boss, that commando was vicious, and we got to see that crazy doll from Trilogy of Terror.
I disliked "Crouch End".
Mainly, because I had no idea what was going on. I love Claire Forlani, but what the fuck was this all about anyway? _________________ ----------

Is it worth the hype? I haven't had the chance to check out any of the episodes yet (argh, I know) but I'd like to hear about how good it is, or how bad it is. _________________ The darkest places in Hell are reserved for those, who in times of great moral crisis, maintain their neutrality. |
