Interesting to see who would've been who if the accepted the roles.

David Bowie as The Joker? . . . that's just insane and wrong enough to possibly work.

Bad Boys was originally conceived of as a starring vehicle for Dana Carvey and Jon Lovitz.

Shocked

I love Jeremy Irons, but the fact that he - not Anthony Hopkins - would've been in both "The Remains of the Day" and "The Silence of the Lambs," I think, just wouldn't have worked. Same with Meg Ryan who was slated to co-star in "Lambs."
