LOL, which one?!?!?!!

The villager was messed up, but the part that really fucked me up was when the Native was shoving the rock up the girl's vagina. That killed me lol

Since I bought the Grindhouse release of this I have had close to a dozen people see it on my shelf and say "Can't be that bad."

Not a single one of the got past the "ritualistic punishment for adultery." And two of them didn't go further than seeing the covert art.

I gave up after trying to convince my girlfriend to watch, since it involves people eating human flesh she refuses to see it. Oh well can't blame a guy for trying.

In my life I think I have seriously sat down to watch Cannibal Holocaust with something in the area of thirty people who have all expressed interest in seeing it. I think four or five of them made it all the way through.

It's almost like a right of passage. Many try, few succeed. Actually after the first ten or so made me turn it off I really started to think about how how long it had been since I first saw it and tried to remember just how hard it was for me to watch the first time.

Now when people tell me they want to see a cannibal movie, I start them off slow and don't show them this until they've seen quite a few other ones.

That was the worst scene for me too. The first time I saw it, I just sat there in shock. Man, that scene hit me hard.

I had no choice BUT to watch it. I had to review it. I remember putting the DVD into my player and my stomach was in literal knots. Crazy.

Yikes! If I'd been forced to watch it I'm sure I wouldn't think as much of it as I do now. I remember the first time I saw it on an old bootleg VHS I was thinking "I'm jaded; this won't bug me a bit." I was so naive back then.

I watch it once a month or so now. I love the movie. But I swear, I don't feel right afterwards, everytime. Maybe that's why I love it so much. One of the few films I'm intimately familiar with that can still profoundly affect me every time I see it.

I guess I'm the opposite, maybe it's because I've seen gore films before when I was a teenager in the '80s. I wasn't totally shocked or disgusted when I finally saw CH for the first-time, it made me think more than anything else. The real monster is Man himself. The only movie that really disturbed me was Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer.

They'd just throw her bony ass away.....not enough meat on her to justify the waste of firewood it'd be to cook her.

Kirstie Alley on the other hand.....LOL!

You should buy it, not rent it. But if you must rent it, Nicheflix stocks it, as I believe does Greencine.
