A fourth teaser trailer for After School Midnighters has been added to YouTube.
The screenplay for After School Midnighters was written by Yôichi Komori and Takekiyo. The principal voice cast of the anime is as follows: Kôichi Yamadera as Kunstlijk, Hiromasa Taguchi as Goth, Haruka Tomatsu as Mako, Sakiko Uran as Miko, Minako Kotobuki as Mutsuko, Jûrôta Kosugi as Pinia, Ikuko Tani as Dunkelheit & Lumière, Hiroshi Yanaka as Mozart, Chafûrin as Bach, Dai Matsumoto as Beethoven, Hozumi Gôda (Gôda Hodumi) as Schubert, Yûsaku Yara as Michael, Hôchû Ôtsuka as Fred, Yûki Kuroda as Sony, Mariya Ise as Principal (Girl), Hiroshi Shimozaki as Mr. Fly, and Shôzô Iizuka (Iiduka Shôzô) as Shaburi.
Here's a slightly edited version of the aforequoted description of After School Midnighters: An original computer-generated animation film by a young and spirited director with a skillful VFX/CGI crew who have a lot of experience with movies and TV commercials. The main character, Kunstlijk, is a human-body model that stands in a science room of an elementary school. Kunstlijk also reigns over the school after midnight. One day, when a naughty kindergarten trio accidentally meet him, his ordinary life changes. The scariest and craziest after-midnight adventure begins...
Here's some information from Kanazawa University regarding the real-life Kunstlijk: "Kunstlijk (whole human body model) ¶ by Louis Thomas Jeroms Azoux (French anatomist 1797-1880) ¶ This is the model that KUROKAWA Masayasu purchased for the order from his government when he was in Nagasaki. He brought it to Kanazawa in May,1869. Kunstlijk is made of paper (Papier Mâché), and is 'a resolvable model' as Auzoux named. It is composed of ~90 parts with more than 1,500 labels. This model greatly contributed to medical education until late Meiji era when human bodies began to be used in student practice. This model received repair in Meiji at Kitagawa Kousakujo, Tokyo and in Heisei at Laboratory for Conservation of National Treasures of Japan, Nara, and has been known as the best conserved male Kunstlijk among the three remaining in Japan, now being placed in Juzen Memorial Hall."
