This says DVDRip.Uncut, so I'll assume its the Director's Cut as well.

You know, really, the theatrical cut WAS the directors cut. The stuff Freidkin left out of the movie, he did for very good reasons. The new director's cut is really more the Blatty cut/Freidkin wants some more residuals cut.

itunes had a sale and that was the one they had, that's why I have that version.

itunes had a sale and that was the one they had, that's why I have that version.
I don't really have anything against it. I love extra bits added in, even if they were left out for a reason. I haven't watched the theatrical version of any LotR movie since the extended editions came out.

I watched the theatrical cut of The Two Towers the otherday... I couldn't believe how much was left out.
