The official website for Jun'ya Satô's Sakuradamon-gai no hen is now online, although at present it's just a home page. Toei Company Ltd. (Tôei K.K.) is scheduled to release the movie theatrically in Japan on October 16th.
The screenplay for Sakuradamon-gai no hen was written by Itaru Era and Satô, based on the eponymous historical novel by Akira Yoshimura. The movie stars (listed order corresponds to order on page for it on Toei's website) Takao Ôsawa, Kyôko Hasegawa, Akira Emoto, Katsuhisa Namase, Seishirô Katô, Hiroyuki Watanabe, Yuri Nakamura, Gôta Watabe, Kenta Suga, Hirotarô Honda, Yôichi Nukumizu, Yukiya Kitamura, Yôji Tanaka, Minosuke Bandô, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Takaaki Enoki, Masahiko Nishimura, Masatô Ibu, and Kin'ya Kitaôji.
