The caption on his tombstone should read:

"WAAAAAAAAAALT!"

I would kill to see someone photoshop that! Laughing

I'll just join the muchos love camp. The flash forward seemed kind of obvious (while watching it), but the rest of the double-ep was excellent viewing.

And I like the idea of the flash-forwards even more now that I've read your theorising on what could happen from here.

A great end to a mixed season.

I know the love here has been full-on, but for me, it dragged in places with the occasional dreary episode.

Re the finale, I can't remember when I've enjoyed a couple of hours of TV more. My only beef with the flash-forward aspect is the same old Jack/Kate dynamic. ARRRGGGGHHHH! Must those two keep "pining" for each other even years after getting off the island?!?!? Laughing

Seriously.... you ain't just whistlin' dixie. This has gotten WAY old. It really pisses me off that the writers were like "Kate's going to make a decision!" and her decision was to sleep with Sawyer, but moon over Jack... so in effect, she didn't really decide at all.

The beginning was shit...The last 16 episodes I agree with you 100%.

When I look back, I think the beginning is better than I and most others give it credit for. It introduced Juliet who turned out to be a complex, interesting character a great foil to boring Kate. There was a Sawyer centric episode that showed the depths Ben's manipulations. And Sun and Gin flashback was good as well.

It had it's problems; namely, not being strong enough to even be considers a "mini-season" and way to much dragging about the love triangle and a pretty anti-climatic death (Echo). I think if it went 26 episodes straight through it wouldn't be an issue.

I think I might have to rewatch it in a giant chunk...I want to know the sigificance of Echo's prophecy..."You're next"...Was it Locke specific, or everyone...Because none of that group had a confrontation with the smoking Judge.[/b]

I think it was referring to the "Razzle Dazzle" couple who, indeed, were the next to die on the island.

If that is true than that is disappointing. One, because Nikki and Paulo were directly responsible for their own demise, not the island or the Smoke monster. Two, because those two characters were obvious bit players (red shirts if you will) just there to soak up oxygen and time and didn't really have a vital role in the overall story.

Wouldn't this all be really fucked if we find out in the end that this was all in Jack's head (considering how unstable his "future self" seems to be)

Shocked
