Does anyone else read Michael Slade, specifically his Psycho X books, because I just have a little question why are his books classified as horror? I've read most of them and none of the books seem like horror they're more like mysteries and they're not even that gory.

I read Ghoul many years ago. A mate of mine at the time was very much into those books. Headhunter and...some other book.

I quite enjoyed the book but it was overstuffed with references. Almost as though the writer (who is actually a bunch of lawyers; there is no Michael Slade) were trying too hard to impress by how much they knew of the genre.
