Thank you so much Verdugo. I wish I had a life to escape from this to but today I don't. |

And who the fuck are you? His nanny? "Have a life"? That's rich from someone who's clearly been lurking about on threads for the past couple of days. Fuck off. |

| Lol, so just looking at different threads and not choosing to comment means I have less of a life than the deranged little man trying to start a flame war? |

You're all idiots.
The extended cuts are better. _________________ ----------

| The extended cuts are better but this isn't Alien 3 we're talking about here the theatrical cuts are outstanding too. I'm just choosing to not wait another 2 years to see my HDTV realize its full potential. I want to see right now that it was worth every penny. They haven't released very many movies that show it off. Maybe a handful. This will be the best to date I'm sure. |

The animated film comes out on Blu-ray the same day as well but I'll get that later.
Best Buy is only getting 20 of them in, boy are preople going to be pissed. And they've probably all been pre-ordered. Amazon isn't cheaper than Best Buy. $65. At either place. $20 per movie not bad at all. Lesser films go for $35 and Criterions are like $50 or something. I got mine! And Relic! Nobody's gonna be rushing to buy up that one. Woohoo. |

Would that be the Ralph Bakshi film from the 70s? |

| The reason I'm waiting is two-fold. 1) I prefer the extended versions. 2) They will most likely release an edition both all 6 versions. |

| It's highly debateable but I consider King Kong to be the top reference quality Blu-ray there is in terms of video. I expect TLOTR to blow it away. But it only has 2 weeks to be the benchmark until Avatar comes out which will certainly be a battle among giants of visually stunning movies. And it's cheap. I'd like to own Shelock Holmes as well but that one is $25 and as excellent as it is just doesn't compare to TLoTR. I'm drooling in anticipation. |

I thought so. It's just my opinion, but I wouldn't buy that one in any format. |

I like it. I also like the Rankin and Bass animated Hobbit from '77. So far it's the only way to see Smaug on a screen. You're not moving fast enough Guillermo. |
