As the global economy teeters on the brink of disaster, a young Wall Street trader partners with disgraced former Wall Street corporate raider Gordon Gekko on a two-tiered mission: To alert the financial community to the coming doom, and to find out who was responsible for the death of the young trader's mentor.

Wall Street is one of my favorites. This looks like it might be pretty good.

Why not? It's the perfect time Douglas looks old enough to have spent 20 years in prison.

I like the first movie, I just feel it great as a stand alone and just doesn't need a second part.....But, I will rent....I miss Michael Douglas...

I absolutely love Wall Street and like the idea of the sequel. It's better than a remake isn't it, which would be horrible.

"Wall Street" is certainly not a movie that cries out for a sequel, it's very self-contained. However, Gordon Gekko is an interesting-enough character that a good script with him in it could be a very good thing. A story about Gekko during this recent financial mess would interest me highly.

I never cared for "Wall Street" so I'm definitely not intent on seeing this any time soon.
