I love how this whole movie is an unabashed rip of Rio Bravo.

It's funny to think this film was made for $100,000. Even in 1975 hat was still very little money.

The film is meant as an homage to one of John Carpenter's favorite movies, Rio Bravo. In fact, the editor is credited as John T. Chance which is John Wayne's character in Rio Bravo.

It's meant to be though so it is forgiven.

The woman that pulls up next to Austin Stoker in the car who keeps looking at him was just a woman in her car trying to figure out what was going on with the camera strapped to the side of this guy's car.

She was in her own way. Before pulling off the side of the road and getting mugged for real.
