| After watching his earlier short films, Steven Spielberg considered Tim Burton to direct the film. But decided against it because at the time Burton had never directed a full feature length film. |

I think Tim Burton would have made a cool film. Though I'm happy Joe Dante made it. |

| always wondered are most mogwai like the ones spawned from Gizmo and he's just a rare good one. Or is it just the result of being spawned from water and the normal ones come from a different breeding method... |
