So SciFi had a marathon of it one day, and i watched it incessively. I don't know why, it's not like they ever REALLY find any hard evidence. It's just fun watching those crazy people tell their elaborate stories. It's not like i deny any supernatural occurances, but why should the ghouls show themselves when people are trying to catch them anyway? Like they really give a rats ass about TAPS. But i still hope they find something...anything (though they rarely do)
honestly i think i only watch it cuz the guy with the sleeve of tattoos is kinda sexy....

The only times I watch are when they air the marathons. I'm from the Boston area and I've seen tons of local places that I've heard of on this show. It's too bad they never did a Danver's State Hospital episode (or did they?) before they started to turn the place into a high end condo complex.

They went to Waverly Hills Sanitorium, which is in my neck of the woods. They actually found a whole bunch of stuff. I've been there, I'd vouch for that place rating high on the wiggins meter.

I liked the show. But all the ones I've seemed to catch were ones where they disproved everything. But ghosts won't always show themselves when there's something different going on.

Whenever Sci-Fi plays a marathon of these me and my bro sit down and just crack jokes about it. I wouldn't TIVO it or anything, but I don't mind seeing it once in a while... Don't fear the reaper!

I'm almost 99% sure they DID do an investigation of Danvers State Hospital. And, if memory serves me right...that's also the location for the film "Session 9". Horror's Hallowed Ground did a great piece on that place, look for it once the section becomes available again on the site!

I'm a total fan of this show. It's not so much WHAT they find...but the fact that they are so thorough about their investigations. I mean, they could be half-assed and not bring all the equipment that they do and just go on 'feelings' and 'hunches' but instead they make every attempt to be as scientific as possible and try to capture any available information in a location.

The crew from TAPS are really nice people too, they're all on MySpace and I've contacted them a few times to ask questions and suggest locations...they always take time to write back.

Oh...and if you're interested in the Waverly, there's a documentary that the sci-fi channel ran about it called "Spooked: The Ghosts of Waverly Hills Sanatorium"...it's probably available to purchase on scifi.com (I rented my copy on Netflix)

OH...and if you haven't SEEN the Waverly Hills episode of "Ghost Hunters" it's available to watch for free on SciFi.Com Full episode! It's a good one!
I've done some "ghost hunts" myself, and I found it to be really fun and exciting...but there's no way in HELL you'd get me to investigate a place where 60,000 people had died. Count me out.

I also love this show and will watch it whenever I get the chance. I love their method of going into each case trying to disprove rather than jump on the first bump of the night and call it a ghost. I believe their will be a season 3 and look forward to it. Twisted Evil

I love this show. This Wednesday, they are suppose to be checking out the Cresent Hotel in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Finally in my home state, even though they'll be on the wrong side of the state. I wish I had time off to go to Hot Springs for this.

Lilith just a question, how did you find out where they'll be and when just curious cause I never get to see these guys and they are always around my neck of the woods.
