A group reading and discussion.

So far it's ARandomthought, Richard and I. Anyone else interested?

Post some ideas for the first novel. New or old.

I say we start with Relic, which I've never read... give me a few days to obtain a copy?

We could do Relic. I've always wanted to read Meg too.

I also have Wolf's Trap. Scott just reviewed the sequel recently and gave it a thumbs up.

Bram Stoker's Dracula is sitting here.

And King Kong: King of Skull Island but it's pricey.

Relic sounds good. Should we do a couple chapters at a time? Not a big fan of dracula but that could be fun. As for king kong, I'll see if I can get a copy.

I just finished reading "2012". Some of you might find it interesting due to the fact the mayans' calander says the world is going to end in 2012.

2012 isn't there a movie out adapted from it?

Relic is a blazing fast read.

King Kong is a cool book. It's illustrated. Haven't read any of it but either Frank of Gus commented that it was good. How can it not be?

I picked up Under The Dome today. We could kick this off in epic fashion. Laughing

I also picked up The Ruins. Had no idea it was written by the A Simple Plan guy. I fucking loved that book.

so when does it start, and what's the process?

Have assigned chapters, and get together and talk about it? or talk about it as we go?

We're still waiting on Richard to get the book right now but as far as how it'll work do you have any suggestions?

How I did it before was to set a number of pages each week and then discuss but we can do it any way you guys want to.

I ordered the Ruins on amazon, so whenever it gets here... usually takes a week or so... my mom bought me a copy of Under the Dome, though, so we could read that first in the interim, if everyone is willing...

Under The Dome is pretty epic man. I'd place bets to see wqho actually makes it to the end with that one.

Are you still gettin Relic?
