For the life of me I can't figure out if I liked this movie or not. I sat down with it last night and spent 90 minutes going "huh?". There was some interesting stuff going on no doubt but was this comedy, based on scenes with laughs or monster movie light? There was never enough impact to make anything really scary or the few character deaths all the meaningful but it was never all out goofy enough to call it a purely for laughs movie either.

Just a weird little flick.

I saw it and liked it.

It's quite ambitious for what was clearly a low budget.

there is something missing from it, don't know what it is, maybe it needed more comedy or more bug action, but it is the best direct to vid horror film of the year (after Trick r Treat of course)

Worth catching if on tv or renting out.

I liked it. My non-horror loving wife liked it. I'm pretty sure the dog liked it. Aside from the gratuitous (yet lovely) boob shot I'd show it to kids. Defiantly light-hearted in nature and pretty goofy, but these kinds of movies can be quite enjoyable if done right. And this, my good sir, was done great. We honestly giggled at parts and had our attention glued solely to the TV for the entire running time. Gotta love the dog gag and the WTF ending.
I totally agree that it's one of the best straight to DVD releases this year.

Just saw this movie, and loved it! I'll take something like this over another big-budget extravaganza or slick remake/reboot any day. I loved the writing and sense of humor, the bugs generally looked great, Ray Wise improves anything he's in, and the ending was the best ending I've seen in years. Not a big film or an ambitious film, just a very entertaining one. Reminded me of a low-budget 80's monster movie, updated for today.

I have a black ant infestation at my house. I does not matter how many times I clean house and everything, they keep coming back.

Spiders often weave cocoons of their web material to contain their eggs. Look for these and clean them off the undersides of all furniture including the bed.
