again that would have been better then what was done in the movie.
Yeah, but they had limited time and limited budget. I don't fault them.

The Hitchhiker is a good story but I would kinda have liked to see one with the hooker as a main character... he just seemed interesting, maybe it's just the actor.

Barbara Eden was originally cast as the hit-and-run driver Annie Lansing during Creepshow 2's last story, "The Hitch-Hiker"; but had to drop out prior to filming due to her mother falling ill. Lois Chiles was later re-cast in the role.
