And I love DEXTER.
Then again, season 3 started out kinda "myeh" and wound up being super intense so...

The Thanksgiving episode was Awesome. I loved how Dexter just snapped infront of everyone!!
John Lithgow as a serial killer is perfect. I was really suprised at the twist this season. Didn't see that one coming.
Personnally, I thought it was Debs Ex that shot them. Really good reveal. Only three episodes left.......I wonder if Mr. Fuji is gonna tell Dexter about his wife?

I also somehow got sold on the ex being the shooter!
But I'm amazed at the lack of discussion this season is elicting on this board. Surely Dexter remains one of the best shows the boob-tube graces us with??

He was also the showrunner for The X-Files creator Chris Carter's spinoff series, Millennium. It's currently reairing on NBC Universal's horror/suspense channel Chiller.
All that said, holy fuck, what an ending! Even though someone I spoke to recently almost spoiled it.
I think next season will be Dex playing the doting single father to Astor, Cody, and little Harrison, while Deb begins to look at Dexter in a slightly different light, i.e. the wheels start to turn in her head.
Or they could go in an entirely different direction; we'll see what the writing staff and the new showrunner have in store for us.
Do we really have to wait until next autumn, for crying out loud, for Season Five?!
