| The first 2 Blade movies are bad. The first was really bad. The second was mediocre. As such, I avoided the 3rd like the plague. |

| God, I hated Blade 3, But Reynolds was probably the least offensive part of it. He did his comedic sidekick schtick fairly well. He was also the best thing about the Amityville remake. He could make a good Kyle Rayner. (I really hope the movie has Kyle and not Hal, just so I can laugh at the fanboy's reactions.) |

Yeah, Blade 3 sucked. So did the Amityville remake. Ryan's an OK actor I guess, but I can't see him playing Hal Jordan. Hal was more of a serious kind of character as I remember and I can think of many actors that would be better suited for the role (someone said Fillion?). Now I do think he could be the younger, hipper Kyle, but I don't really care for his storyline.
By the way, have you seen my bobby pins? |

Yep, a joke that's funny. |

I think they already confirmed they're doing Hal Jordan.
Personally I'd like to see John. |

I'm really not happy with this casting. I like Ryan Reynolds, he cracks me up, he's good fun in an action movie, but I don't want to see witty one-liners and cheeky satire with Hal Jordan.
I was really pulling for Bradley Cooper to get the part. thinking about him in some of his films, especially Wedding Crashers, I could see him be the arrogant, smarmy, pain in the ass test pilot with dead father issues tapped to become a space cop weilding the universe's most powerful weapon. _________________ Open your textbooks to the chapter concerning your death. |

I pretty much agree, but Ryan reynolds for me was part of what made it worth sitting the whole way through.
As for him as gl, I prefer him as deadpool period. Hopefully they'll get deadpool as a character right in the spinoff because he was sick in the first fifteen minutes.
I could easily see him as the flash as well. |
