I'm taking a break from writing reviews and articles to pimp something of mine...Shameless, I know...
My new novel, City of Demons just went up on Amazon today! Anyone interested can check out my website to see what author Gary Braunbeck said about it, and you can order it here if you're interested:

You've got quite a few books. Cool.
Can you tell me more about it? |

Sure...
City of Demons is a crime/noir/horror story about a series of brutal murders that take place in Houston, Texas. The murders are oddly reminicent of others that took place a year ago, but the arresting officer put an end to that killer's reign with a bullet. But it didn't come without a price. Now, whenever he touches another person, living or dead, he experiences the last few seconds of their lives. Every sight, scent, sound, and pain are his to suffer through. When the new killings begin, he tries to get out of psychological leave to try to solve them.
The introduction is written by Gary Braunbeck, and to save time, here's the link to my website where you can read the intro: http://www.americanhorrorwriter.net/COD.html |

| That is quite the introduction there. The book sounds interesting. What was your inspiration if you don't mind me asking. |

| I grew up near Houston, and it just always seemed to me to be a place where things were going on behind the alleys and such. I took a few ideas from the media, took the rest out of my own twisted brain. There are elements of Lovecraft-meets- Dashel Hammett in this. |

| Shit, sorry to leave you hangin like that but I had responded but my internet connection isn't the best so it didn't go through. I am definitely gonna check it out after I finish Relic, Reliquary and finally Bram Stoker's Dracula. It sounds good. |
