It's a large collection I'll give you that, and there is some stunning wonderful music they put out.
However, most of it is just poppy bullshit that begins to all sound exactly alike. What they did for the musical industry and world as a whole I completely respect and think is great, but as far as liking their music goes....not a fan, at all. |

Speaking of good rock, anyone a fan of The Black Keys? I've become a huge fan of them as of late. |
See, I prefer my rock drug fueled. Hence my preference, these days, for stoner/doom bands like Dead Meadow, Witch, Danava, etc ...
Haven't listened to the Black Keys yet, although people keep telling me I should. Although, if you're into boozy rock, you might dig Endless Boogie. Gonna be seeing them open up for the Youth on July 6th, myself. Pretty fucking stoked. |
Endless Boogle is pretty fucking awesome! Thanks for the tip dude, I just bought one of their albums on iTunes.
Definitely give the Black Keys a listen to. They are a pretty stellar band.

Yeah, I'll give 'em a go, one of these days.
Saw Endless Boogie last week. They played a 1 hour set, consisting of only 2 songs. One of those songs was less than 4 minutes long. You do the math. Pretty fucking awesome. |
