Trailer for it is there. I, personally, can't stand these games anymore but I'm still kinda surprised it took them this long to do a Beatles one.

Can't wait for it.

only thing is the Beatles aren't really known for amazing guitar/bass work - I'm not slamming on them at all (in particualar George and Paul) - my favorite band of all time - but sheer joy I get from the Beatles is how it all comes together and Lennon/McCartney lryics.
Just saying, how many of the songs are going to get old to play Guitar/Bass on as they often are the same few notes again and again and again.
I know RockBand also has vocal and drum track but as much as I try I can't get them. While my voice isn't too bad I have trouble keeping it where want me to - I know my strenths as I sing and automatically alter songs I sing for my own voice.
And I do NOT have the rythym for drums - even if its Ringo.

I do love The Beatles but think these songs would be just too simple. Mayerbe the latter half of their career when they got more progressive would be interesting. Anyway, Guitar Hero Metallica is really all the game I need. It's challenging as fuck and I can't think of a better compilation anyone could put together unless it's Pink Floyd but that'll never happen.

I bet you'd sound better than the Stones themselves. I've seen them alot in concert and they always sound like shit.

Eh, they sound OK considering 2 of them are already dead. Mr. Green

I was also thinking the Beatles may lean a little to the easy side, but I'll still give it a rent. Metallica kicks my ass in the drums department, so it might be nice to play something more my speed.

They're older than dirt, but on records they are amazing. Plus they'd actually be fun playing on guitar and getting drunk and singing. I just want to play sympathy for the devil.

The Rolling Stones will always be the greatest fuckin' rock band on the planet. I think you guys should end every DFF with a Rolling Stones song.

God Bless you sir! I knew there was a reason we get along.

And yeah, the sympathy for the devil choice was mine, I knew it was going to be that even before we recorded it.

Rolling Stones actually has songs you can distinguish from each other (besides maybe Satisfaction and Honkey Tonk Woman) and you can always rock your fucking socks off with them.

When it comes down to it, I like my rock and roll booze soaked and fun.

Beatles has never offered me that.

And DSIC, The Who fucking rocks, and always will.

The Beatles are the single greatest musical collective ever to walk the face of this green Earth. Anyone who says different is entitled to their opinion, but more than likely a little bit retarded.

Thank you.

Don't get me wrong I love The Stones. They are onr of the greats in the studio. The Who are fucking awesome but I've never seen them live. I saw Pink Floyd twice in concert and I'm sure I'll never see a show quite like they put on again. Iron Maiden rocks both in the studio and live as well. Up the Irons!

It's a large collection I'll give you that, and there is some stunning wonderful music they put out.

However, most of it is just poppy bullshit that begins to all sound exactly alike. What they did for the musical industry and world as a whole I completely respect and think is great, but as far as liking their music goes....not a fan, at all.

Well, it's been said that you're either a Beatles man or an Elvis man. I gotta side with the king, baby. I feel the same way you do about the Beatles.
Respect them? Yes. Like the music? Nope.
