The ones I listed I really loved watching on Saturday morning growing up. But there's plenty of awesome cartoon shows that I never got to watch during that time that are faves:

Flash Gordon (Filmation)
The Simpsons
Super Friends (I forgot this one initially)
Jonny Quest (60s)
Ren & Stimpy
The Tick
Scooby Doo, Where Are You?
King Of The Hill
The Flintstones
Tom & Jerry (Hanna Barbara/Chuck Jones)
Popeye (Fleicher)
Woody Woodpecker

etc...

Oh...Star Trek, too. I believe the animated series aired in prime time, but essential, imo. Laughing

I never liked cartoons and I still don't. Saturday afternoon's for me were all about The Son of Svengoolie and horror movies. Man it'd be cool if they came out with a Svengoolie box set.

Sorry I posted such a long list, I just watched tons of cartoons growing up.

A lot of those are really cool btw, and finding those clips was filled with memories coming back all at once.

If you watch any of the clips linked, make it the last two and you might start to understand why Quebec has decriminalized pot... We all grew up on that show.

You're welcome!

I just loved checking those out again on Youtube while bored (during my lunch hour).

Now I want some of those on DVD to watch them again.

I'll check them out when I get home(in about a week).

I recognize a few names there, but half I just have no clue.

I always liked the superhero stuff as a kid. Looking back though, those X-Men and Spider-man cartoons were fucking horrible. Especially the Spider-man one. If I never have to hear the words "neogenic recombinator" again I'll be happy, and don't even get me started on Madame Web. The Bruce Timm Batman cartoon is still awesome, though. Best superhero cartoon ever made.

Hell, I still watch cartoons. I think I need to watch kid's shows to balance out the horror stuff lol. I really dig the NEW Spider-man cartoon, actually. It's really well written, especially for a Saturday morning cartoon. The dialogue between Spidey and Goblin is always great, and they handled the Venom storyline in one of the best ways ever. Not to mention the animation is incredibly smooth and the stylization is pretty boss.

You ever watch the hulk or iron man cartoons? They weren't bad. The new wolverine and the xmen is good minus a few episodes.

Yeah, too bad they didn't catch on as much. The old Silver Surfer cartoon was really good, but ends on a cliffhanger and was canceled after one season because Marvel was going bankrupt at the time.

I caught one or two episodes of that new X-Men. I liked the episode where Cyclops pretty much went berzerk and went after Mr. Sinister. I also like all the quick cameos. I'm pretty sure I saw Xorn in the background in one episode.
