Thrilling Passengers

Anne Hathaway set for PassengersGod, I hate the term “supernatural thriller.” Call it a fucking horror movie or go play in someone else’s genre, damnit.

Sorry, I’m congested. Makes me irritable.

Anyway, this morning The Hollywood Reporter told of a new supernatural thriller being produced by Mandate Pictures called Passengers. Anne Hathaway (pictured) will star as a grief counselor who helps the six survivors of a plane crash deal with their issues and forms a special connection with one of them. Of course they then start disappearing one-by-one, and she suspects a conspiracy. What any of that has to do with the supernatural I don’t know, unless said conspiracy is death coming to collect. Which, someone should tell them, has been done.

Rodrigo Garcia (Nine Lives) will helm Passengers with a shooting date set for sometime in the first quarter of 2007.
