Yep, you got the good ones there.

Did you see Pulse?

I was sent a screener to review it, and it's a fantastic DVD!

Yeah, I saw that tour in 94 at Atlanta!

The DVD is awesome.

Now they need to release Delicate Sound of Thunder so I can be totally happy.

I'm glad you chose Great Gig in the Sky. It's my favorite song of "Dark Side of the Moon."

Wouldn't it make a great funeral song?

It's one of my favorites too. I always get pissed if a radio station cuts off the song before it plays.

It was a bit disappointing live when I heard it though many years after the album came out -- nobody has pipes like Doris.

Maybe.... for YOUR funeral (cue dramatic score).

But someone on Q104.3 classic rock station here in NY requested it the other day, and I love to just turn the volume up on it. Wonderful.

I agree. For the "Pulse" DVD, TWO women sang it. Neither of them could handle the long screaming. It's a wonderful piece of music.

Useless Trivia : That album was loosely inspired by George Orwell's 'Animal Farm'

Rolling Eyes No, I was talking about Eric Burdon's 60's band. Now who's this Pink Floyd guy anyway?

Laughing

The Animals rock. Eric Bourdon's pipes are legendary, but bringing that up will antagonize people instead of oh... starting a new thread and explaining why you like this band.

Let me know when you start it. I love the band.
