The very fact that we actually end up rooting for Omar, a psychotic, homosexual gangsta thief, is a testament to the layered, complex writing. He's one hell of a character. I'm a big fan of Lester Freamon, too. At this point, I'm really a big fan of EVERYONE -- as the series progresses, you really get to know all these characters as complicated, flawed human beings. They're more real and interesting than any other characters on any other show around.
Glad you're enjoying it. Keep me posted as you progress through the series -- it's nice to have another fan around here.

Zoe is cute too.
Someone had to say it.
I mean the way she gave that guy in the cafe that look after yelling "THONG".....hehehe. She's going to be a man eater as she gets older. She reminds me of Melissa Joan Hart. I guess it's the voice/attitude. |

I agree with you.
She's another one of the many characters who started as a cliche and evolve into someone human. I hated her as the angsty rebellious daughter, and she's turng into a really cute foil to her dad.

I'm almost done with the first season, I only have two episodes to go. I would have finished it by now but I was laid up in the hospital with a kidney stone for the last four days. Hopefully I'll be able to rent the next disc tonight. I can't believe Greggs got shoot. I'll be pissed if she doesn't survive.
