Known for his jaw-dropping contributions to films like An American Werewolf in London, The Funhouse, and Gremlins 2: The New Batch, makeup artist Rick Baker is one of the true greats of the field, as evidenced by the fact that he’s scooped up a handful of Academy Awards over the years.

Wouldn’t it be awesome to take a tour of Baker’s studio? You’re damn right it would. And today we’re going to allow you to do just that. Best of all, you don’t have to peel yourself off your computer chair or even put on pants. Though you should probably put some pants on anyway. Cause that’s gross.

Courtesy of the YouTube channel Academy Originals comes a must-watch virtual tour of Baker’s studio, showcasing his entire collection of props and relics from the many films he’s worked on over the years. The video also serves as an insight into the state of makeup effects in the present, a landscape almost entirely dominated by computers.

How can you help preserve the art of makeup effects? Watch the video to check out Baker’s collection and find out!
