Behold the Video Nasty VHS Collector Set!Earlier this year we told you all about Mario Covone’s provocative horror comic serial Video Nasty and shared the glorious image of Graham Humphreys’ artwork for the collected Hardcover Edition. Now we have a detailed look at the quite frankly gorgeous new Limited Edition VHS Collector Edition. Gimme. Gimme now!

The comic explores the real world politics behind government censorship and media manipulation in 1980s Britain, whilst still maintaining the core of being a fictional horror story.

It’s written by Covone with interior art by Vasilis Logios and cover art by Graham Humphreys.

When you’ve finished drooling over the below images, why not have a read of our interview with Mario Covone regarding the series, covering the story, the artwork, and more.

Synopsis
England, 1987. Police Inspector David Gorely must solve a string of grisly murders in his usually quiet rural town whilst contending with pressure from his superiors to find a link between the killer and the recent influx of horror home videos. The race is on to solve the case before the death toll rises whilst still dealing with the burden of connecting these heinous crimes to video nasties.

The Hardcover collected edition and the VHS box set (which contains a mini graphic novel collecting all six issues, eight collectable postcards, two stickers, a badge and a bookmark all packaged in a VHS box) are now available for pre-order at MarioCovone.com. The VHS box set is limited to only 100 copies so get in there quick if you want one!

The Hardcover will also be available in Forbidden Planet as well as in comic stores though Diamond Comic Distribution. All six issues are still available online at Comixology for digital download.
