The Gasp Menagerie: 4-Foot Shark Eaten in One Bite!

You’re gonna need a bigger shark… This YouTube video shows something kind of terrifying. By kind of, I mean get a diaper because you’re probably gonna leak a little.
While fishing for sharks off the coast of Florida, these men caught something incredible on video. That something is a large example of the species known as the goliath grouper, a massive fish that, as we can see here, proves that sharks aren’t the top of the food chain.
In one gulp, the adolescent black tip shark, around four feet in length, is swallowed whole by the goliath. Like it was a minnow. Since the goliath can come close to 700 pounds, the same size as a bengal tiger, this shouldn’t be a surprise… but it definitely reinforces my notion to NEVER EVER SWIM IN THE OCEAN. EVER.
