Just put up an interview with the producer on the new direct-to-PSP game, which you can dig on right here.

Does that mean that finally there's a reason to own one of these damn things?

I've regretted buying mine since about 20 minutes after first turning it on.

I traded mine in long ago.

There's just hardly any good games.

Yeah, this and Me & My Katamari are about the only thing the system has going for it... and Origins really does sound badass.

and LocoRoco Smile seriously, that stuff is addictive and kyyyyyyyoot!

Silent Hill origins will be the first survival horror adaptation for the PSP and hopefully lead others to follow suit, the main drawback is the frame loads that you get with a PSP, the Sims on PSP is woefully slow and doesn't translate well.

please please gimme Survivor for PSP.
Can't wait for Silent Hill...

Maybe a pretty penny, but the GTA crack could hit you in the pocket a bit.

Meh, absolutely no interest in the PSP; terrible design, poor concept, and the games don't justify purchasing one.

Wonder how Sony takes it? The idea is to sell the PSP at a reasonably hefty loss and recoup the loss through licensing rights of games and movies. Movie studios have given up on the UMD, even going so far as to call it a "failed format." More telling is that UMD movies were selling at about the same rate as PSP games; how long before game studios start pulling games from the PSP? EA has already said they're moving focus away from the PSP and toward the DS, even going so far as saying the PSP needs help.

The only person I know to own a PSP had their analog stick break on them and have, thus far, shoved it in the closet. Sony charges $100 to fix it, so he said "fuck it."
