We already told you that Image Entertainment, an RLJ Entertainment brand, has acquired all U.S. rights to the thriller Odd Thomas, based on the original, critically acclaimed New York Times bestselling book by Dean Koontz, and now we have a brutal new image to celebrate with!
The film stars Anton Yelchin, Addison Timlin, Willem Dafoe, Patton Oswalt, Curtis James Jackson III aka 50 Cent, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Nico Tortorella.
The story centers on a short-order cook named Odd Thomas (Anton Yelchin) who can commune with the dead, a secret only his girlfriend (Addison Timlin) and the local police (Willem Dafoe) chief know. The young man can also spot malevolent forces called bodachs, who feed on pain and portent imminent death. When Odd sees them in spades surrounding a stranger, he finds himself in a race against time to avert a catastrophe.
