Horror Hound #4 (click to see it bigger!)We’ve been trying our damnedest to get the word out on the latest horror ‘zine on the block, Horror Hound, and today we got the lowdown on Issue #4, which is on its way out the door as we speak.

The first thing we want to tell you about is the best news we can think of: This is the first of many issues of Horror Hound that will feature Sean Clark’s Horror’s Hallowed Grounds, the fan-favorite series that got its start right here on Dread Central! Issue #4 contains a re-written and slightly truncated location retrospective on Poltergeist (read the original one here) and is just an example of the good stuff to come in future issues!

In addition to that bit of cool, the HH staff got to sit down with Dan O’Bannon and William Stout for a retrospective article on Return of the Living Dead, featuring pages of images from the movie and memorabilia that even the hardest of the hardcore ROTLD fan may have never seen. They’re just good like that.

They also chatted up House on Haunted Hill director William Malone to find out why he’s considered a Master of Horror and talked to Jennifer Shima of the 30-Second Bunny Troupe, the group responsible for all those badass 30-second recreations of famous movies done exclusively by bunny rabbits.

Coverage of the numerous summer horror conventions, movie news, and comic book goodies are just some of the additional extras you’ll find in this jam-packed issue. Be sure to hit the mag’s official site here and their MySpace spot here for more details and to find out where you can pick it up!
