Anyone else going to watch this British cop show, on BBC America tonight? The premises is that a cop gets knocked out and wakes up as a cop in the 70's. The reviews I've read make it sound pretty damn good.

I think the song Life On Mars plays an important part in the show. It was popular in the time when the show is set. There should be a thread about David Bowie though...

I missed it! I hope they have it on demand the way they have Hex on demand so I can watch last night's episode. Was it good?

Well, if anyone is intrested, I watched it and liked it quite a bit. It handled the whole travel back in time thing very well. You can't tell if the guy is in a coma having a fantasy or if he has really traveled through time. And the scene where he discovers himself in 1973 with Life On Mars playing is very cool.

I watched most of the first episode last night. I was playing Battleship with my kid which is why I only watched most of it. But I did enjoy it.

When Sam puts his hand on the chest of the female cop, does he not feel a heartbeat? my battleship was being sunk so I kinda missed that.

I liked that he didn't take this time travel in his stride. He really is freaking out, but attempting to keep it together. I think I might keep tuning in.
