Wayward Pines Gets a Professional Tweeter

Only in the mysterious world of M. Night Shyamalan can a character who’s dubbed as a “Professional Tweeter” possibly exist. I mean this cannot possibly be a real title, can it? Either way, read on for more “Wayward Pines” casting news.

According to Deadline, Lindsey Kraft (pictured) will recur on the Fox event series, an intense thriller that revolves around Secret Service agent Ethan Burke (Matt Dillon). Kraft will play Ethan’s sister-in-law, Darla, who is a professional tweeter(!) and “life coach”.

Kraft joins the previously announced Dillon, Tim Griffin, Charlie Tahan, Shannyn Sossamon, Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Toby Jones, Greta Lee, Juliette Lewis, and Melissa Leo.

Based on the best-selling novel Pines by Blake Crouch, “Wayward Pines” is an intense, mind-bending thriller evocative of the classic cult hit “Twin Peaks.” “Wayward Pines” is set to debut in 2014.

Synopsis
Ethan Burke (Dillon) is a Secret Service agent who arrives in the bucolic town of Wayward Pines, Idaho, on a mission to find two missing federal agents. But instead of answers, Ethan’s investigation only turns up more questions. Each step closer to the truth takes Ethan further from the life he knew, from the husband and father he was, until he must face the terrifying reality that he may never get out of Wayward Pines alive.
