New Late Phases Image Comes Crashing Through the DoorYa see, the thing about werewolves? They’re just uncultured, man. I mean, they don’t even have the friggin’ common courtesy to use a door in the correct fashion. Case in point: this latest still from Late Phases which finds its own exit.

From the Press Release
Principal photography has commenced on Adrian Garcia Bogliano’s highly anticipated feature LATE PHASES. Shooting is currently under way in the Hudson Valley of upstate New York.

Several cast additions have also been announced. Set to star alongside Nick Damici (Stake Land, Premium Rush, We Are What We Are) is Cheap Thrills star Ethan Embry along with Erin Cummings (“Spartacus”) and Lance Guest (Halloween II, The Last Starfighter). Tom Noonan (The House of the Devil, AMC’s “Hell on Wheels”) is the latest genre favorite to join the cast.

Bogliano has assembled an ensemble of supporting players plucked from a gamut of classic films: Tina Louise (Stepford Wives), Karen Lynn Gorney (Saturday Night Fever), Caitlin O’Hearney (Wolfen) and Rutanya Alda (The Fury, The Deer Hunter).

From the director of Penumbra and Here Comes the Devil, LATE PHASES is Adrian Garcia Bogliano’s first English language feature. Written by Eric J. Stolze, the film will tell the story of Ambrose McKinley, a cantankerous blind vet who moves into a retirement community only to learn the residents there have been dying, not from old age, but from dog attacks. After surviving his own encounter with a canine one night, Ambrose comes to believe the assailants are much more than mere dogs…

MPI’s Dark Sky Films is co-producing LATE PHASES with Zak Zeman’s Site B Productions, while Larry Fessenden and Brent Kunkle will produce for Glass Eye Pix.
