I'm not really a "collector", but I do have a decent collection of soundtracks.
I also love the duo Midnight Syndicate who make PERFECT movie-like scores.

For those of you who dig more ambient stuff, check out Tangerine Dream's soundtrack to a flick called Sorcerer.

And if you can, check out the movie as well.

One scene in Sorcerer was filmed at the church in Elizabeth NJ that I was married in.

The priest I grew up with, Father Peter, was actually in the movie.

He was the priest with the cigarette who wandered into the cellar after the robbery.

That's pretty cool.

Has anyone ever checked out the silent film "L 'Inferno" (1911)? It is supposed to be the first Italian full-length feature film and Tangerine Dream has done a modern soundtrack composition for the DVD.

I also like Midnight Syndicate. There's also an individual known as "Virgil" who composes similar music. I have a few of his CD's. I recently found out that he went to the same University that I did during the same time period!
