New Pulse DVD Details

Finally you can all breathe a sigh of relief; the details on The Weinstein Company’s release of Pulse on DVD have been unveiled, and you have Davis DVD to thank for it.

The disc will hit the streets on December 5th, 2006 (so it’s the perfect Christmas gift for that horror fan on your list … that you hate) in the form of a never-seen 90-minute unrated cut with features set to include a commentary with the filmmakers, deleted scenes, and three featurettes: “Creating the Fear: Making Pulse,” “The Visual Effects of Pulse,” and “Pulse and the Paranormal”.

By the way, the “never seen” 90-minute cut is a whopping three minutes longer than the theatrical PG-13 release, which is also due out on the same day in fullscreen only. Look, folks, just do yourselves a favor and click here to get Manolia’s release of Kyoshi Kurosawa’s original film. And then click here to read Rick Tremble’s unique take on the new Pulse.
