Rick Berry did the wide release cover, and there are a few variants........
The Berry one is bad ass though........ |
Wow, seriously?! It is just... so Gaimen, you know? I have been so wrong about stupid little things like this recently.
EDIT - you know, I am feeling like a huge idiot here. I'm just going to go make a scrapple sandwich. |

Uh...yeah, Gaiman is a comic writer, not an artist. Never has been. The Sandman covers were done by Dave McKean. _________________ "According to witnesses, testimony and evidence...this massacre was the work of ninjas!" |

| I am going to be completely honest here, I only knew Gaimen through reputation here. I have seen Sandman but never read it, always meant to. When the Eternals artwork REALLY reminded me of Sandman artwork I have seen, I made a hugely stupid jump of logic. |

No worries, man. Now allow me to urge you to immediately go pick up the first Sandman collection, entitled "Preludes and Nocturnes" and read it. You'll thank me later. _________________ "According to witnesses, testimony and evidence...this massacre was the work of ninjas!" |

Reading "Sandman" is the first step in Gothtardation.

I want to pick it up, but then I see the $20 price tag on the first collection and can just never justify it. Probably will once I am gainfully employed again. |

Just read the First Fantastic Four that takes place during the Civil War. It's looking like Ben and Susie arn't for registeration and could split from Reed.

Fuck Johnny. Thor's back!
Just kidding, but I have to say that while I love the Civil War story arc, have you checked out Ultimate Fantastic 4? It is really better than the normal story arc, and is currently back to dealing with zombies! And a monster they actually said was from Lovecraft! And Doom! Yay! |
