Halloween Back on the Big Screen

Halloween back on the big screen! As I’m sure you’re all aware, in a few weeks Regal Cinemas will be showing off a new, pristine print of A Nightmare on Elm Street in theaters across the country in anticipation of New Line’s forthcoming special edition DVD release of Wes Craven’s classic (which you should pre-order here). But they’re not going to be stopping with just one horror classic…

We’ve received word from sources on high (how’s that for vague?) that Regal Cinemas will be screening John Carpenter’s original Halloween in their theaters nationwide on October 30th and 31st this year. Similar to what they’re doing with “Freddy’s Best Kills”, there are plans in place to showcase some of Michael Myers’ most gratuitous offings from the past 25+ years.

Look for an official announcement about the two-night screening very soon, and make sure you click here to get your tickets for A Nightmare on Elm Street if you haven’t already; you’re not going to want to miss this one!
