New Spiders 3D Clip is in Need of Back-Up; More Festival Screenings

Good news for those of you out there who want to witness the spectacle that is Spiders 3D (review) on the big screen! If you’re in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, your time is coming!

It was announced today that Tibor Takacs’ upcoming creature feature has been named an official selection of The Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival, and to celebrate, a brand new clip from the film has been released.

Running December 7th through the 9th, The Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival celebrates their love of science fiction and metaphysics in cinema. The festival will be held at the Indie Screen Theater in Brooklyn (289 Kent Ave at S. 2 Street, Williamsburg, Brooklyn 11211) with Spiders 3D slated to screen at 10:20 pm on Friday, December 7th.

Patrick Muldoon, Christa Campbell, William Hope and Jon Mack star. Still no word on a wide release, but we’ll keep our ears to the ground.

Synopsis
Following a crash of an old Soviet space station in New York City’s subway tunnel, a new species of poisonous spiders is discovered. Inadvertently the spiders mutate to gigantic proportions and wreak havoc on the entire city.
