Truth be told, we kind of forgot about the very well reviewed Sundance flick Black Rock (review); therefore, it’s a good thing this trailer has just premiered online to give us a quick and much needed reminder.

Written by Mark Duplass (Baghead, Jeff, Who Lives At Home, Cyrus) and directed by Katie Aselton, Black Rock stars Kate Bosworth, Lake Bell and Katie Aselton, who appear as three childhood friends who set aside their personal issues and reunite for a girls’ weekend on a remote island off the coast of Maine. One wrong move turns their weekend getaway into a deadly fight for survival.

The flick is set to hit on May 17, 2013, courtesy of LD Entertainment.
