| This is great news about Paramount releasing the series. I'm huge Lynch fan, and have seen every film he's done, but shamefully have to admit to only seeing a few - random episodes of the series. |

for the record, season 2's dvd release is on hold, but for a good reason. lynch is still finishing up his next film Inland Empire, which he's been editing for ages. Basically, he's using all digital video equipment which gives him huge amounts of control over the editing process. It's all self funded so he's not really got pressure to get it done by a time... and he's already months behind schedule.
so what has this to do with season 2 of twin peaks?
they want lynch to oversee the transfers of the episodes from video to dvd... given how gorgeous the season one episodes turned out, i'd gladly wait well into next year for that. it's still probably the best picture quality of any tv series so it'll most likely be worth the wait.
i'm a bit sad that i'm not flying out to washington in a few weeks for the twin peaks festival this year, but i'll be rewatching the series instead. |

Thank God! According to Davis DVD, Paramount is finally releasing Season 2 on April 10. I'll have a big piece of cherry pie to go with that coffee. _________________ His friend demanding what scarlet was, the blind man answered: It was like the sound of a trumpet. - John Locke, Human Understanding |

This was the first time I was exposed to David Lynch. I was in High School when my drama teacher started to show every episode he had recorded. He also served coffee during those times. I thank him for introducing me to the greatest show that was aired. _________________ Things we do not talk about in General Chat.

| I was pretty stoked when I heard about this a month or so ago. Even though I have a bootlegged copy already, I'm hoping for an official release of the original "pilot" episode. |

I gotta get off my ass and get these. The first season was one of the best things ever on tv. _________________ Close the case before the coffin. |

$150! Are you kidding me!
That's like six hooker BJs down on Franklin Avenue!
