Warner Shuts Down Direct-to-Video DivisionWarner Premiere has been the go-to source for Warner Brothers’ direct-to-video content such as The Lost Boys flicks, The Hills Run Red, and the modern classic anthology Trick ‘R Treat. Unfortunately it is no more.

According to Deadline the studio decided to shutter Warner Premiere early this summer, and most of its employees have already been given other jobs. But it will “continue and complete production on its remaining film and digital series project into the fall,” the company says. Warner Premiere was created in 2006 but became superfluous as the direct-to-video market diminished.

Rest in peace! We hardly knew ye!
