Lordi are fun. They do straight out of the 80:s hardrock in the best Alice Cooper & Kiss style. Sometimes it works, when they try to be metal, it usually doesn't.

Decent liveshow, but unfortunatly In Flames had ended their show just five minutes before Lordi entered the stage, so I was quite jaded.

I don't see InFlames being a good match for Lordi. It's two totally different types of music, and feel for that matter. Lordi's supposed to be fun. InFlames is serious (not that that's a bad thing)

True. But imagine having come from a really great In Flames gig with tonnes of pyros and 15000 people jumping and screaming and having a good time. And literally five minutes later on the second stage Lordi shows up. In fact, you don't even have time to get to the other stage before the first Lordi song begins.

It's kinda hard not to compare the bands shows then, and compared to In Flames "Let's throw 20000 $ on pyros" show, Lordi did seem quite pale, despite masks and all.

As for good match, it was a festival, so. We'd had everyone from Lou Reed to The Strokes to Pharell to Strapping Young Lad play. Lordi and In Flames just happened to close the two biggest stages that night.

Wow...between SYL and In Flames, that alone would be worth the price of the ticket.

That fucking ruled. The song isn't one of my favourites, but that video was so cool. In fact, Lordi has from the first video always done good stuff visually. But with those suits I guess it's hard not to...
