Every year, Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights somehow gets cooler. So it’s no surprise that they’ve stayed true to form for this fall with two amazing additions to their horror theme park legacy.

Deadline is reporting that Halloween Horror Nights is slated to take on AMC’s “The Walking Dead” and the beloved game series Silent Hill this year. Silent Hill marks the first time in the park’s history that a video game has been the source for one of its attractions.

Of course, these will also serve as promotions for both a new season of “The Walking Dead: as well as a new video game and movie for the Silent Hill franchise. Silent Hill: Book of Memories hits the PlayStation Vita on October 31st, while the long-awaited sequel Silent Hill: Revelation 3D opens on October 26th via Open Road.

Both properties should lend themselves quite easily to an incredible experience at Halloween Horror Nights – I can’t wait to see what they do with these suckers.
