| Excellent! I'm looking forward to Ishii doing another gangster/crime/thriller type film. I much prefer those films (the two Gonins, the two Black Angels, Alone in the Night, A Night in Nude) to his straight up softcore epics (Flower and Snake 1-2, Brutal Hoplessness of Love) and dramas (Original Sin). |

Japanese home video release is going to be on February 25th 2011. There will be 3 versions:
- Regular DVD
- Director's Cut (Premium Edition) DVD
- Director's Cut Blu-Ray + DVD Perfect Edition
The only audio option is Japanese and there will also be optional Japanese
subtitles.

Just to clarify, the version of the film that's playing festivals is the 20 minutes shorter "international version" and not the director's cut that's available on DVD and BD in Japan.
For some reason, crap like this has become standard practice. |
