David Arquette’s Preppin’ His SCREAM 5 Dewey Stache

Production has kicked off on Scream 5 even though three crew members tested positive for COVID-19. But whatever. Today, Arquette teased he’s growing out his classic Dewey ‘stache.
Arquette tells ScreenRant. “Well, this mustache is just freshly cut for Dewey. I start it in less than a week. I’m really excited about it; to be teaming up with Courtney and Neve again, and carrying on Wes [Craven’s] legacy is really exciting for me. It’s gonna be sad, very bittersweet, without him there. But Radio Silence, they’re incredible filmmakers. They’re going to do a great job. They’ve been inspired by Wes, so it’s great to see his legacy continue.”
Arquette joins the killer cast which includes franchise favorites such as Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and Marley Shelton, along with series newcomers such as Jack Quaid, Melissa Barrera, Dylan Minnette, Mason Gooding, Kyle Gallner, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sonia Ammar, Mikey Madison, and Jenna Ortega.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not) direct from a script by James Vanderbilt (Zodiac) and Guy Busick (Castle Rock). Kevin Williamson and Chad Villella, are executive producing with Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein and William Sherak producing. Casting is underway on the flick which shoots in North Carolina this fall.
