Zack Snyder’s ARMY OF THE DEAD Anime Series Adds Christian Slater & More

Netflix and Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas anime series has added Christian Slater, Joe Manganiello, Vanessa Hudgens, and Jena Malone to the cast.
Bautista will reprise his role for the anime series, along with Ana De La Reguera, Tig Notaro, Omari Hardwick, and Ella Purnell. Malone will voice someone named Queen Meeru. They join a cast that currently includes Yetide Badaki, Harry Lennix, Ross Butler, Anya Chalotra, Christina Wren, Monica Barbaro, and Nolan North.
The anime series, Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas, will tell the origin story of Dave Bautista’s character and his crew during the initial zombie outbreak in Vegas.
Zack Snyder and showrunner Jay Oliva (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns) will direct 2 episodes each. Shay Hatten will write the series and executive produce with Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Wesley Coller, and Jay Olivia.
